The new school year is beginning, and Redwood's Headmaster states that he's got an announcement to make. During this announcement, one of the empty classrooms is set on fire-- with five students trapped inside. The story follows a few characters' attempts to solve the mystery of the classroom fire, as well as the other mysteries that spring up along the way. Last vacation is an Otome game about a college girl who visits the countryside during her last summer vacation. She meets three brothers who make her summer vacation more interesting than expected. The setting is meant to be in Japan, and hence several Japanese words (in Romaji) may be used. But the English meaning will follow right after the Japanese Phrase in the VN dialogues. However if you would rather not have any Japanese expressions in the dialogues, there is an English-only version that you can download as well. There are 3 attainable guys, 4 endings ( 3 good ends and 1 bad end). Each path is relatively short, depending on your reading speed, the time to complete the game may be 5-15 mins only. Size/Scope: 12 MB download, play time 5-10mins (unless you like staring at semi-naked anime babes, in which case, longer XD) This game was a competition entry for Ludum Dare, a game competition where you have to create a videogame on your own in 48 hrs to a surprise theme. You can use a fair amount of development tools, but all images, music, scripting/special coding, sounds must be made by you and you alone (no collaborations). Ludum Dare #20 theme was "It's Dangerous to Go Alone! Take This!". My original statement of intent was that I would only enter if I thought I could justify putting some gratuitous sexy time into my game. The good news is… I could. So I did. (Actually, it's only really a 12A at worst, nothing you wouldn't see at a beach, these days).

The narrative of Matches & Matrimony comes from the combining of 3 different novels, Pride & Prejudice, Sense & Sensibility, and Persuasion. This visual novel started as a test of Ren'Py 6.11.2. You may notice some of the Ren'Py tutorial in the very beginning. This visual novel was initially called "firstproject", but was later renamed "Searching for Mio", then later to its current title, "The Petty Parody". Its current name was inspired by alliterations used by the Lemony Snicket books, who my friend loves greatly. The name "Mio" was inspired by Akiyama Mio from the popular anime series K-On!. Throughout its short development (a few weeks or months with short intervals of time spent haphazardly), The Petty Parody had no real direction. I just went with what seemed to fit, while still making the game somewhat amusing. A key source of inspiration for much of the game's dialogue comes from "The Fucking Question", a parody of the Ren'Py game "The Question". This game, until very recently, was complete crap. I asked a friend of mine, who had beta-tested before, and he suggested that I add more meta-jokes. I began to add some more meta-humor, and eventually ended up rewriting a large part of the game. I don't want to describe much as it would give away much of the surprise but here i s something general. The first visual novel created by NeumanProductions, involves two people who had been penpals for several years. During the summer one of them asks the other premission to stay at their place while looking for a future university to attend. The story takes place during the time they are together. Since receiving his Summoner's amulet, Albert has searched through out the empire for remnant artifacts of the previous civilization, accompanied by his companion demon Neph. The two arrive in the remote town of Ravensford on the rumor of such an artifact, but find the town haunted by the vampire Darien von Creighton. The Curious Alliance is a linear, non-romantic visual novel in a light-hearted fantasy setting. I estimate roughly forty five minutes to an hour of gameplay.
